(Nashville, Tuesday, August 28) On Sunday, September 16, Michelle will perform alongside some of her fellow Canadian country music stars to raise funds for Farm Aid at the Farm Aid Benefit Concert in Ottawa, ON. Held at Ottawa Stadium, Michelle will be joined by other Canadian artists Emerson Drive, Paul Brandt, Jason Blaine, and more.

Farm Aid, started in 1985 by Willie Nelson, John Mellencamp, and Canada’s Neil Young, is an organization that works to increase awareness and raise funds for family farmers struggling with overwhelming debt. This year has been difficult for Canadian farmers, especially in central and eastern Canada, causing a shortage of crops and an increase in food prices throughout the country.

Tickets for the benefit go on sale on August 30 at 10 a.m. and can be purchased at Ottawa Stadium or online at www.farmaidottawa.com. Tickets are $59.50 for general admission and $89.00 for premium field level seating.
